MEMBERS of Gorey Boxing Club were delighted to present a cheque for €2,500 to the Talk to Tom suicide prevention and awareness charity recently.
Ray Cullen of Talk to Tom went along to one of the club's training evenings to accept the cheque on behalf of the charity, and he thanked the club for all its efforts, saying the money will be put to very good use..
Gorey Boxing Club hosted a big Fight Night in The Amber Springs Hotel in January, and divided the proceeds between club funds and Talk to Tom. A huge thank you was sent to all who supported the Fight Night.
